Ho Yin LUK, Peter
I am Peter Luk, a local PhD student. I graduated from the Newcastle University (UK) with an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and the University of Hong Kong with the Master of Medical Sciences. I’m doing my postgraduate study here in the virology team under the supervision of Professor Paul Chan and Dr Siaw Boon. My research focuses on tumor virology and particularly in HPV.

Yeeun OH, Helen
Helen obtained her B.Sc in Biochemistry from the School of Life Science (SLS) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Upon graduation, she is pursuing a PhD with a research focus on Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and cancers, specifically on the development of therapeutic interventions to mitigate diseases caused by cancer-causing HPVs. Throughout her study, she acquired basic molecular biology techniques such as transfection, qPCR, and cell culture techniques to investigate the effects and mechanism of novel agents against HPV-associated cancers.
Lixin WANG
Wang Lixin completed her B.Sc. in Traditional Chinese medicine in CPU, China, and M.Phil. in the Tianjin University before starting her Ph.D. program in 2023. Her project focuses on the field of mechanisms related to Human Papillomavirus carcinogenesis. She is also interested in the metabolic pathway in eukaryotes.
