Carmen LI
Carmen is a full-time researcher with a research focus on the epidemiology of Group B Streptococcus (GBS) isolated from human and food animals through characterizing the phenotype and genotype of the pathogen. She is also interested in antimicrobial resistance in zoonotic bacteria and clinical Gram-positive and -negative bacteria by whole-genome sequencing for the identification of novel antibiotic resistance determinants and mechanisms. Her research encompasses the fields of molecular biology, bacteriology, infectious disease, public health, One Health, and bioinformatics.

Nilakshi BARUA
Nilakshi is a full-time researcher. Her research interest includes antimicrobial resistance of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as the gut microbiome. She is also involved in 3D-skin culture and Caenorhabditis elegans infection models.

Jun YANG
Jun is currently a postdoctoral fellow. His research involves detection of antimicrobial resistance genes in both Gram-positive and negative bacteria, and alternative strategies to fight against antimicrobial-resistant bacteria. He is also interested in investigating antimicrobial resistance mechanisms by genome editing tools, such as CRISPR-Cas and Lambda red recombineering.
